Patriots Plan To Make WR Free Agency Splash

http://www.csnne.com/blog/patriots-talk/why-brandon-lloyd-isnt-part-patriots-plans
After reading this article, and thinking of the Patriots receivers, I'm reporting that the Patriots want to bring in a big wide receiver option this free agency.

Overreaction Mock Draft

This is not an actual real mock draft. This is a mock draft for fun, it is overreacting to the combine.
1. Chiefs: Terron Armstead OT
He broke the record for fastest forty yard dash time for an offensive lineman.
2. Jaguars: Geno Smith QB
Ran a 4.59 forty yard dash.
3. Raiders: Marquise Goodwin WR/KR
The Raiders love speed, and this guy is the fastest player in the draft.
4. Eagles: Tavon Austin WR/RB
Tavon Austin has straight-line speed to go along with his horizontal speed.
5. Lions: Onterio McCalebb RB/KR
6. Browns: Lane Johnson OT
Was already a first round pick with out the forty time, now it's just more topping on the ice cream.
7. Cardinals: Tyler Bray QB
Bruce Arians wanted to introduce a more vertical passing attack in Arizona, Bray has all the talent (keyword talent), in the world to do it.
8. Bills: Shamarko Thomas S
He reunites with his Syracuse coach, Doug Marrone. He ran the fastest forty time for a pure safety. He was also one of the only ones to face plant after he ran it. He does have a lot of potential.
9. Jets: Dee Milliner CB
The Jets want to trade Revis so bad, because they know Milliner will fall to them. Rex Ryan now seems like a genius, even know he wants Revis to stay.
10. Titans: Ryan Swope WR
This guy ran the same forty time as Tavon Austin, and the big question coming in, was is he fast enough to be a starting wide receiver?

What's Happening In KC?

The Kansas City Chiefs are in a situation with a new head coach in Andy Reid. The Chiefs will not be rebuilding this year. They will be building onto the team they already have, by adding a franchise quarterback.
I think if Kansas City is to select a quarterback, it won't be with the first overall pick, but the likelier thing is Andy Reid will acquire a free agent quarterback, most likely being Alex Smith. Alex Smith, because they are reports out there that the Eagles have interest in him, and Alex Smith is a west coast quarterback, the kind that Reid likes.
The Chiefs' defense was really missing Brandon Carr, who left for Dallas during free agency. The Chiefs might trade back in the draft and try to get Jonathan Banks, Desmond Trufant or the top corner in the class in Dee Milliner. As we've seen in Philadelphia, Reid really liked his corners.
With the new CBA, trading in the NFL draft has seemed to be at its highest in decades. If Kansas City stays put at number one, Luke Joeckel is likely pick. Joeckel is the top rated player in the draft. Ever since Andy Reid started in Philly, he has never been able to hold down a franchise offensive lineman. I think he's finally has found his guy.
Kansas City could also trade with the Rams, being that St. Louis has two first rounders. Another situation could be that Kansas City trades down in the first round, take a player, then uses their second round pick to trade back up to the first round.
Right now the Chiefs are in a great spot with all their options, but if they don't choose one, they'll be out of contention for the next five years.
